Hotel is good value and provides everything you need in a comfortable and clean package. Front desk staff was fairly helpful as well. Also, I’ve seen comments about homeless in the area. For full disclosure, the extent I saw was two tents a block from the hotel across the highway. I had no concerns about the neighborhood or safety whatsoever. It is conveniently near Old Montreal and right at the entrance to Chinatown.

We booked 1 room with 2 queen beds. We loved the location so much, very near to tourist spots, restaurants etc! Breakfast serves only from 6-930am on weekdays even on holidays. We had a great view in the penthouse suite!!

This hotel is very good value for money. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The rooftop pool and hot tub where very nice. I liked being steps away from Chinatown. The food was amazing and the hotel is very central to tourism. The homeless encampment is across the river, and I didn't even notice it until I walked across the bridge. I really didn't feel unsafe in a group, but perhaps a single woman by herself at night might not feel safe. We did have our AC break, and I'm not sure it was fixed. It smelled like burning. The staff was very nice and helpful. It has a very nice breakfast, but it's insanely busy at nearly all hours. No places to sit, running out of silverware, forks, food. It gave me massive anxiety. It was free though . I would recommend this place, as it is very nicely priced, but just know the weaknesses before going in.

I am so pleased with this hotel! The staff were extremely attentive and kind. Everything was clean and put together. The room had a small washer and dryer that were game changers with our winter gear. The breakfast was good and efficient. Always had a place to sit even on busy mornings. I could text the front desk staff when I needed something and they delivered every time. I was worried when I saw some reviews but I honestly have nothing I could even try to complain about. Yes there is a homeless shelter across the street but it didn’t bother us at all. In fact I loved the mission of the shelter. The people waiting in line did not bother anyone as they walked by. Overall 5 stars and all those negative reviewers were just having bad luck.

Amazing 5 nights experience. Location, location, and location. The hotel have no control of the homeless issue. If you look beyond the homeless aspects this hotel is amazing. We are on the 7th floor, the room is spacious with a very cute pullout sofa. Nice little kitchen (we booked a kitchen) with basic kitchen requirements. The view is amazing including the homeless encampment (homeless people doesn't bother us nor any guest). 6th floor have a nice hot-tub with a very cute heated swimming pool. The gym have a nice view for working out. 6th floor is a nice place to relax, read a book, and enjoy the complimentary coffee and tea offers by the hotel 24hrs. Breakfast, it's one of the best breakfast offers in Montreal hotel (we stayed in 4 hotels in Montreal for period of 10 days). There's enough plates, bowls, food options, and 24 hrs coffee and tea available. Traffic at the hotel for breakfast is little chaos, however, the hotel does have signage of when the traffic is bad. Due to the high season of tourist, of course the service is a little slow but everyone will get their chance to eat. Just be a little more patience and CLEAN after yourself. Some guests are just entitled guests whom left a huge mess during high traffic time. Their cart and garbage can to deposit your garbage and dirty dishes. The set up flow of the breakfast area is very well spaced out. Just terrible human who doesn't have manners and doesn't follow the flow of the traffic. Staff - from the time of check in to the house keeping staff. They are kind and very professional. Hats off to the breakfast staff and the lobby staff whose have to deal with no-manner guests. Left a huge mess and don't clean up after themselves. Housekeeper staff clean the room very well and also polite. Front desk, always greet guest with smile. Underground parking is easy to access, however, please do remember to lock your car and don't leave anything in your car. We definitely will be back.

Semi friendly staff Very loud in front of building, asked to be moved and we were accommodated to the back. Great view of city, large patio, spacious studio. Located on edge of Chinatown. Very close walk to Vieux Montréal and St Catherine's St. Easy access to drive to. Parking garage below is expensive and tight. Homeless shelter across highway, be careful when walking that way. Breakfast buffet goes very fast, eat early, as they didn't restock anything once it was gone.

This hotel is in a very convenient location to Old Town Montreal with its unique European vibe. Our welcome at reception , information concerning the parking 30$, elevators to use, breakfast buffet{ was extremely busy with clients but staff worked diligently to refill } was really good and Included. Bathrooms were clean, roomy and had a magnified mirror which was a wonderful surprise. Very comfortable bed with a kitchen which we did not use but could be of assistance to many. Only hiccup was a very loud party on the 6th floor. This is a regular occurrence on a Wednesday evening, but ended by 11pm. (all good) Huge shout out to Maya{front desk} whom was so helpful and an absolute asset to the hotel.

The location is near Chinatown, which is perfect if you’re craving Chinese food. The suite has a small kitchenette, which is very convenient. The bathroom water temperature is comfortable—not too hot and the stone floor doesn’t feel cold. Overall, the environment is very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The only downside is that breakfast runs out quickly,, by the time we went, only eggs and potatoes were left
